Corscombe Fest 2020 - and other activities

Sad to report that the 2020 Corscombe Fest has been cancelled.

Given the current advice regarding slowing the infection rate from the corona virus (Covid-19), most events have been cancelled.
If you were planning to attend an activity, it would be wise to check with the organisers before-hand

In line with Government advice, those over 70 years old and those with underlying health issues should self isolate and keep a distance from others.

There is much advice available online - the BBC Website - clcik here to go to the site - is a good place to catch the latest news and advice. A Google search will reveal other sites, such as the NHS (click here to open the site) for up-to-date advice.

Please email Chris Chapman with any issues you would like to address or about any special arrangements put in place by you, or friends and neighbours, to help each other

A new opening page for the website is currently being discussed - the idea being that it will give up-to-date information about what special arrangements are being put in place in Corsocmbe to help us support each other.

The calendar of events below has been updated - many acttivies have been deleted, whilst some from July onwards remain. It is highly likely that these events will be cancelled also (this will become apparent as progress against Covid-19 is assessed)

If you would like to see a list of cancelled events, please login to your account and select 'ADD ITEM TO CALENDAR' - you will see a list of all future events. Those that have been cancelled will be in blue type, those that have not will be in black type. Events can be cancelled / reinstated from this screen So when you delete an event , it is not deleted but just made dorment - so anyone using the site will only see items that have not been cancelled

Number of visitors to the site since mid-september 2019:

The site receives, on average, 102 hits/day, 715 hits/week, 3032 hits /month
The site will be going through a redesign in 2018/2019, to further increase its usefulness. If you have ideas please send me details
